INFRASTRUCTURE SNAPSHOT
  • 500 Servers (physical and virtual)
  • Databases: Oracle, Microsoft
  • 350TB of data
  • Storage: NetApp, EMC & Nimble

Challenge

Webster Bank was running a number of older disparate storage arrays that collectively were unable to support the increasing workloads from a performance nor capacity level. Specifically, the database and VDI environments suffered the most. Meetings were being held weekly just to keep those environments running to the best of their abilities. They had minimal scalability and limited DR capability.

Implemented Solution

F3 consolidated all of the existing storage arrays onto NetApp All Flash FAS arrays, in a metro-cluster configuration allowing for a zero downtown environment. Webster Bank can now take advantage of top performance, vertical and horizontal scalability and central management for all environments. F3 also provided a resident architect to handle installation, migration and even optimization of the new platform for a full year.
